TOUR DESCRIPTION:

Criccieth is an unspoilt seaside town facing due south, with two glorious beaches, divided by the headland on which sits the 700 year old castle. Situated on the Village Green, commanding magnificent views of Cardigan Bay, the Lion Hotel has been developed and extended from an Olde Inn into the hotel it is today, offering a unique personal service of friendliness, comfort and true hospitality. All rooms have en suite facilities with TV & Sky Channels, Telephone, Radio and Hostess Tray. For this tour we have included some wonderful excursions, including a train ride on the Ffestiniog Railway, and for garden lovers, a visit to Portmeirion, the famous Italianate village with its spectacular gardens, and Bodnant gardens, covering over 80 acres is considered to be one of the finest gardens in Britain, situated above the River Conwy with stunning views across Snowdonia. It features huge Italiannate terraces and formal lawns on its upper level, with a wooded valley, stream and wild garden below.
