TOUR DESCRIPTION
This tour combines the best of Yorkshire's food and drink, with the country's wonderful scenery. We will visit the Blacksheep brewery situated at the gateway to Wensleydale, where we have organised a guided tour, and will give you the opportunity to sample Yorkshire's famous ale. We have also included a visit to the famous Wensleydale Creamery, situated in the market town of Hawes in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and they are the only makers of Real Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese in the world.
Elegant, cosmpolitan Harrogate has a great mixture of wonderful shopping. From the bustling town centre to the Westminster Arcade and Victoria Shopping Centre you can discover designer shops, familiar names and local arts & crafts. The Yorkshire Hotel itself is situated opposite Betty's Cafe Tea Rooms, which began in Harrogate in 1919. A favourite with locals and vistors alike, you'll be spoilt for choice with over 300 breads, cakes and chocolates, as well as 50 different teas and coffees. The hotel completed a recent full refurbishment programme, transforming it from a typical Victorian hotel to one that is fresh and contemporary, retaining all the elegance of the orginal features. All of the hotel bedrooms are fully central heated, all en suite, decorated to a high standard with beverage making facilities, hairdryers, trouser press & radio.
