TOUR DESCRIPTION:

Menton is a charming town nestled between Monaco and Italy on the Mediterranean coast. Surrounding by mountains, it is protected from winds and benefits from wonderful weather most of the year. Menton is one of the 120 Cities of Art and History of France, and has a well known reputation for its numerous gardens.

The Mediterranee Hotel is an attractive hotel located in the heart of Menton, close to the pedestrian area and a short stroll to the sea. The restaurant Le 5 is decorated in a belle epoque style, modern yet classic. Guests can relax in the panoramic bar on the 7th floor of the hotel with superb views over Menton and the Mediterranean Sea. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and decorated in a classic style with mini bar, safe, Sat, TV and hairdryer.

Our route to Menton takes us via Hull to Zeebrugge through Belgium, and France, overnighting onboard the ferry to Zeebrugge and in Dijon, France. We have included some wonderful excursions. Diano Marina, which is a beautiful little resort across the border into Italy, situated on the Ligurian Riviera. Of course we will include an excursion to the chic resort of Nice, which has everything from quaint squares of Old Nice to the affluent Promenade des Anglais. It is the largest resort on the Mediterranean coast, known as the capital of the Cote d'Azure with excellent beaches. To top off a wonderful holiday, we have included Monaco & Monto Carlo. Monaco is a tiny principality perched on top of a cliff with Monte Carlo spread below. Monaco is a tax haven for the rich & famous. Explore the tiny cobbled streets of Monaco, visiting the Cathedral or trying your lunch at the Grand Casino are just a few things you can do in Monaco.
