TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Our groups first stayed here over 26 years ago and we have gone back many times since. Our old friends Ludwig and Monika, like our family, brother and sister, run the hotel. It is situated in the heart of the town, overlooking the cable cars and vineyards. Rudesheim is the best town on the Rhine for things to do, see and entertainment. Every restaurant has a wine garden with music and it's just great. The main entertainment lane, the Drosselgasse, is only a few yards from our hotel, yet our hotel is very quiet. The Rhine promenade, pleasure boats, lovely coffee and ice cream parlours, make this a great base. Our hotel has the oldest wine cellar in town, but the hotel is extremely modern, all rooms have full private facilities and our food is of course typically German and very good. We don't want British food in Germany. We have plenty free time to enjoy the boats and town.
