hospitality. Just a short walk from the seafront and the fine Largs Promenade,
the Willowbank Hotel has become equally famous for its flowers and hanging
baskets, all grown and produced by the same family who built the hotel and have
run it now for nearly 50 years. In these changing times they have ensured it has
retained its charm and is still a quiet escape from the hurly burly of the
modern world.
All the rooms at the Willowbank are comfortably furnished for a relaxing stay and include singles, twins, doubles and family rooms. Nearly all face south or west and enjoy a sunny aspect.
In the old fashioned way we use only the best of local meat, fish and vegetables, freshly cooked and served in portions large enough to satisfy a healthy appetite after a busy day out and about. Our menu includes traditional dishes and more than a few nicely exotic choices that includes local seafood. You can eat in our impeccable yet comfortable dining room, in the bar and on fine summer evenings, al fresco under the hanging baskets. Diner is served from 7.30 –9.00pm and you can expect a friendly courteous service.
The Willowbank is the largest hotel in the small seaside town of Largs and with full catering facilities it can host the biggest of functions and weddings of upto 150 guests. However it very nicely sub divides into pleasantly modest spaces and has dedicated small function rooms.
Whatever size of occasion you want to hold the friendly atmosphere is complimented by the efficient service and freshly cooked food brought to your table piping hot. Right next door to the spacious bar, the restaurant and function areas can be combined to provide ample space for dining and dancing.
