Due to the great success of our October tour, we are back
to the Esplanade Hotel, only for longer this time. The
Esplanade Hotel is Dunoon’s finest hotel offering guests
breathtaking views, excellent standards & wonderful
service. The Shergill family aim to offer guests a holiday to
remember. Step inside and feel the warm and friendly
atmosphere of this long established family owned and run
hotel.
We have had so many requests to have a few holidays with
late departures, so here is another. We are always open to
requests. All bedrooms have private facilities, colour TV,
Telephone & tea-making facilities. For this tour we have
included wonderful excursions to showcase Scotland at its
best, including the secret Island of Gigha.
The community owned island of Gigha is the most southerly
and one of the most beautiful of the Hebridean Islands. Only
7 miles long & 1.5 miles wide and is situated 3 miles West of
the Kintyre Peninsula. Gigha is breathtaking – sandy beaches,
clear green seas and a host of wildlife and also the Achamore
gardens to explore. We have included a lovely lunch in the
Isle of Gigha Hotel inc. Soup Sandwiches, Shortbread, tea or
coffee Another excursion we have included will be to
Inverary Castle, home of the Duke of Argyll, Chief of the
Clan Campbell, and of course no visit would be complete
without including an afternoon tea with scones (Diet – What
Diet!) Our outward journey will be via the ferry from
Greenock to Dunoon and Return via the same route.
