This is our 9th year here. Eastbourne, like Llandudno and a
few small select resorts, has managed to remain ‘aloof’
from other resorts. It really is beautiful, flat, has exquisite
gardens, and a lovely promenade.

The Lansdowne Hotel is a breath of fresh air in one of the
loveliest locations on the south coast, overlooking the
Western Lawns on Eastbourne’s seafront. The hotel has a
wide range of excellent en-suite bedrooms with modern
facilities. There are comfortable lounges facing the sea and
games facilities including two snooker rooms.

Eastbourne’s lively theatres and shops are nearby.
To enable us to enjoy the tour, we have an overnight stop
on the first and last day.
