The Peak District is a treasure trove of different sights and places to visit. With hundreds of miles of spectacular
unspoiled moorland, hills, lush valleys, forests and reservoirs, the Peak District has something to offer everyone. We have
included a visit to Chatsworth House, which is one of the treasure houses of Britain, set in magnificent landscape of
Derbyshires Peak District National Park and is seen in the film Pride and Prejudice.
Offering something for everyone, from famous works of art, the 105 acre garden which has a magical landscape with
formal hedges, rare trees, spectacular fountains to name just a few. We have also included a trip to Bakewell, which is a
highly picturesque market town, and famous for its Bakewell Puddings. We are sure you will make a visit to the Bakewell
Pudding Shop, to sample this wonderful delight. We have also included a visit to the Wedgwood Pottery Visitor Centre,
which includes an informative tour, including an introductory film, and self guided factory tour. There are also great
shopping opportunities at the Wedgwood shop and factory retail outlet but to round this visit off, we have included a
wonderful afternoon tea in their brand new restaurant. The Tea Room has been created so that guests can be hosted to
a uniquely British tea experience. Uniformed staff will present a selection of finger sandwiches, pastries, cakes and
savouries on tri-tiered Wedgwood stands to complement a selection of specialist Wedgwood Teas served in stunning
Wedgwood china.
Another day we have included a visit to the market town of Buxton. It has a number of claims to fame; as well as being
the capital of the High Peak, it is also over 1000ft above sea level, the highest town of its size in England. Buxton has been
a popular holiday resort for centuries. Blessed with stunning scenery, magnificent architecture, a wealth of shops, and its
